A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

    Intake O-rings!

If you can find Viton O rings with the same dimensions locally then there is no reason why you cant use them. There is nothing special about the genuine Suzuki o rings.

Marquez has been given a double long lap penalty to be taken at the next race he participates in, which wont be next week as he has broken the first metacarpel in his right hand during the incident. Good news is Miguel Oliveira has been released from hospital but declared unfit to race next week.

Well, the 2023 season started this weekend. Was great to see the sprint race on Saturday, after the qualifying. Adds a bit more excitement to the proceedings and gives the fans a good show. As for the main race...... bit of a procession but some good battles mid field to spice it up a...

    Testing the starter clutch assembly??

I use a battery impact gun to remove the center bolt and the correct puller to pull the flywheel off. If you dont have an impact gun, usually a spanner on the center bolt and a good sharp whack with a heavy hammer will break it loose enough to remove it. Plenty of other options available if...

    Testing the starter clutch assembly??

The orientation of the washer has an affect on lubrication of the starter/clutch assembly. I have always made sure it is fitted the correct way as per the FSM, but i am unsure as to what harm it would do if it was fitted incorrectly. You are clearly unsure, and concerned as to whether you have...

I do the same, fill it with super unleaded, ESSO or BP Ultra is the lowest ethanol content fuel in my area. Start it up and let it run till it gets hot, i do it every 2 or 3 weeks. Once the warmer weather arrives and its time to ride, just start up and off you go. Never used any stabilizers or...

    No oil pressure

Bet you are glad you didnt dive in feet first and tear the engine apart without checking the simple things first! Happy you sorted it out so easy, we all make silly errors at some point.......and learn from them.

    No oil pressure

No need to split the cases or tear down the motor. As Nessism says, pull the clutch off and inspect the oil pump and drive gears. Make sure the drive gear is meshed properly with the clutch hub. Plenty of things to check before stripping the motor, which can all be done with the engine still in...

Was indeed a fantastic race, right till the end. Such a shame for Miller at his home race, ironic that his fate was met at his own corner!

    Well, That's Annoying

As said previously, the small round towers not in a straight line are a dead give away for a fake. I have seen a few fakes with the white SH775A on them as well, but the writing is poorly applied and comes off easily with a brisk rub, unlike the genuine article.

Air Screw O-Rings crushed on installation

We need to be clear on what screws you are referring to here. Is it the AIR screws on the side of the carbs, or the fuel pilot screws on the underside of the carbs? IF it is the fuel pilot screws you are referring to then they must have a washer on them, between the spring and the O ring...
