DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

I did. Found a set of NOS cushions on ebay, been running them for a couple years. Took quite a bit of looking and waiting until I saw them pop up for sale.

    float bowl drain screw gasket

Viton would likely work but my Viton kit doesn’t have any small enough…does anyone know the correct size? Afraid if I pull one to measure it would be incorrect since they’re somewhat deteriorated

    float bowl drain screw gasket

1978 GS750.....When I rebuilt my carbs I used the Robert Barr gasket kit, all was well for awhile but then they started leaking through the float bowl drain screw, the seepage is very dark in color like the fuel has started to dissolve the o-rings. I then bought OEM Suzuki o-rings for the drain...

    Lithium battery questions

What you need with a lithium battery is a R/R that is very accurate and consistent with its charge rate, especially the high rpm charge. Look at the specs for the battery you want to buy. I used an Antigravity lithium in my gs750, if memory serves 14.2v at high rpm is the max acceptable charge...

Recommended black spray paint for chassis/brackets etc? Correct finish? Durable?

Norrell?s moly-resin is super resistant to chemicals and can applied to different sheens if you want to climb the learning curve with it. Takes a few applications to get it just right, it goes on with an airbrush then bakes at 300 for an hour. It?s more work than spray bombing but looks real...

Source for rearsets for GS1100? Anyone make a reasonable bolt-on set?

I bought a set for my ''77 gs750 from them. There was 1 tiny little rod end missing from the package, I contacted them and they had it right out to me. Good quality, work great. Not cheap though...

    non-running 1999 Harley Sportster 1200

Dead simple, everyone above except the oil leak comment guy (there?s always one) is correct. Is it by chance the 1200S model? My dad had one back then, dual plug heads, dual front disc and adjustable suspension with small dials on top of the forks. Kinda/sorta been looking for one of those as...

Dirt cheap Dunlop Elite 4 tires

Mine came in, also from 2017 but appear to have been stored properly. I suspect that is why they are so cheap. I?ll use them happily.

Any other ?hitch? detected? I need tires for an old ?wing, those are going to be $140 for the set. That seems TOO cheap

    Longer Starter Motor Cable

Definitely use the welding cable. It?s more finely stranded and easier to work around bends and such. It?s perfect and you can but red or black. I got mine from amazon along with the terminal ends. I used the revival kit as well, quite handy.

    Drive sprocket nut part number

Spot on Redman! I went back to the ?78 model year, same problem. Skipped ahead to ?79 and same thing under the GS750E schematic BUT under the dreaded L they had the correct part number!

    Drive sprocket nut part number

1978 GS750E: I need a new drive sprocket nut (the front sprocket on the output shaft). Ordered from Parts Outlaw but unfortunately just picked numbers from the schematic and didn?t look at the actual part numbers. It seems that the fiche lists the spacer behind the sprocket (part #37 on the...
