A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

    Pic of the week game

It's between Steve and Trevor for me, both very happy pics for different reasons. A good friend of mine has the same bike for his son and riding brings them both so much joy. Trevor it is.

Great theme, as any picture with a motorbike in it makes it a happy photo. Then I remembered how happy real Mexican tacos make me. This is from Baja 4 years ago.

Rich's photo is beautiful, perfect light. But looks like he's got it in the bag so I'm gonna vote for Eli because that's where I'd like to be right now - on a winding dirt road away from it all.

I thought about finding a pastor to sit on my bike for this one, but I couldn't find one. I thought about taking a photo of the old farm bike in my shed that was put out to pasture by its previous owners, but it was too dark. I even thought of putting some spaghetti in a bread roll and sitting...

Wow, great selection. I am going to go with Grimly, I can almost smell that garage.

This was a winter's day ride a month or so ago. I love the light at this time of year, when we see it.

anyone go for a ride today? Pics?

With restrictions lifted a little this week I got the 750 out for its first proper ride. It's running great and handles pretty well for an older bike. My mate joined me on his GS850G - we swapped and that's also a great bike to ride. Hopefully we get plenty more nice days before it gets to...

There are some great shots here! Those clouds and that lighting tell us everything about your ride, Cowboyup.

Thanks Pete. I live in a rural area so I can justify a ride on some country roads to find flour or sugar which are often out of stock at our supermarket. The weather is holding me back right now - 5-10 degrees and constant rain. The other worry is I haven't broken in the new tyres, and I don't...

Thanks Ed. You think the front master cylinder looks bad, you should have seen the rear! The piston was so gummed up I couldn't move it it in the slightest, not even with compressed air. It looked like the piston was part of the cylinder. I ended up drilling out the centre of the piston very...

Right you are! Marving "race" model with the baffle in. Fitment required a bit of wrestling - it was almost like it was made to fit two types of bike and the spacing of the headers is between both. The muffler doesn't sit the way you'd expect either. You would think the text would face outwards...

Thanks Greg. Yeah I worked that out once I got hold of a service manual! I also discovered that our wheel and tyre sizes are different to the rest of the world. 120 front instead of 100 and 130 rear instead of 120. I was home sick one day a while ago and thought I might order tyres. Glad I went...
