A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Wow! That's on your phone? What kinda phone have you got? The GoPro is the way to go....Looks like $400:https://gopro.com/en/us/ You'll have to brush up on your narrating skills and enthusiasm like Jedz! It's really challenging talking yourself up and letting everyone know your ramblings...

Beautiful story and pics Roger. San Bernardino County is HUGE! My mother lives in the Inland Empire (part of San Bernardino County) and loves the gorgeous views of the "foothills" which I don't believe you went that far inland. I was stationed at Williams AFB, in Chandler AZ so I use to make...

    New GS owner, sort of..

Are those PODs on that bike? It sure doesn't look like the original airbox. It's chain drive, alright...and as for the Kerker...I like V&H/4-1's...so Kerkers are not on my radar. EDIT: WAIT! were you joking? Ed ****

Front brake rubbing and axle space orientation - 82 GS750T

I just got this explained to me...those are “anti-Dive” units on your forks. Emulators go inside the forks and regulates the oil. Thanks MrBill! Ed ****

Front brake rubbing and axle space orientation - 82 GS750T

Here's a better pic...I don't have the spacer like your fork does...My Parts Bike (which is another "T") has the axle reversed; the thread is on this side of the fork. The fiche does not show a spacer on this diagram...

Front brake rubbing and axle space orientation - 82 GS750T

This is the best pic I have (from when I first bought my "T") of the area in question (and I looked as good as I could): Those are emulators (I think that's the term) on your "T" which are on the 82/83 GS1100 front end. And I have that set up to upgrade to dual front disc. Ed ****

    Harbor freight brake bleeder

Ahhh, heck, I don't remember the name brand of it...even though it was marked on the white gauge, I couldn't make it out. I've only ever used one of those once so the name had escaped me. The guy I borrowed it from is a Boeing Engineer who helped me do the valve clearance as well. The info...

Nice photo, Bob! You're not scary to look at, bro. Some of us are a bit shy in front of the camera...but you look comfortable. Thanks for posting your ride. EDIT: I don't have as much gray in my chin as you...but it is taking over the color it's supposed to be. lol Ed ****

    New third-generation 2021 Hayabusa!!!

I think I believe you...as long as the throttle isn’t too sensitive and makes me look dumb! Lol I’m from L.A. and appreciate the Raiders for winning SB XVIII for the city of Los Angeles. I spoke to a friend who is a Packers fan that said to me today, “the SB is as American as it gets!” I use...

    New third-generation 2021 Hayabusa!!!

+\- $1K +\- $2K It’s do-able but for the life of me, I’d have to work my way up to a Busa! Having a Y2K/Gixxer 750 was not the best decision as a first bike. Lord knows I was very fortunate NOT to get in too much trouble with that bike! Ed P.S. Enjoy the SB!!! ****

    New third-generation 2021 Hayabusa!!!

Expensive toys that would be hard to justify for some of us...especially those that are married. Try buying a new car for less than $25K... Even being credit card debt-free, funding both my wife and mine IRAs, able to pay mortgage & utilities, and having a savings account that allows early...
