All new forum registrations must be activated via email before you have full access to the forum.

A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Dave, I changed the link in your Campfire thread on my VN chapters to the Catkilleronefive website which belongs to me. The fellow who operates the catkiller.org site is a good guy but a a bit on the religious side. There I had to remove any swear words which definitely distorts the reality of...

    Pic of the week game

Last minute entry. First picture I have of me with a motorcycle--from Aug 1969. I purchased it new in Portland OR and rode it cross country to Ft Gordon (Augusta) GA coming back from my last VN gig. There are better bikes for touring. :)

I had a Titan back in the 70's and I loved it. Just a great all rounder. Did not work well as a center punch for a Dodge Polara grille however. Otherwise I would probably still have it.

If it will get us going I will switch my vote to Trevor. It was a toss up between his and Gustovh's for me anyway.

I like Trevor's R/W/B Suzuki signage a lot but I am going to go with gustovh this week. If you look at the the slightly fuzzy focus just right you can see an impressionist painting .

I am never sure why things happen in this software but this particular thread was moved from the GS Discussion forum to this proper one for carb issues a couple of days ago. If it does not go away from your feed in a few days let me know.

Vancouver Island would seem to have more vintage vehicle enthusiasts per capita than anywhere else on the planet. Except maybe Cuba? ;)

    Stater and Reg/Rect problems on 82 GS650Ez

When GS Resources (now The GS Resources) first started up back in the late 90's Electrosport was a sponsor, in fact its only one. That is how prevalent stator/rr failures were.on GSs. They were assumed. This site may owe its existence in part to large numbers of riders coming together over...

Going with Redman. Accurate to theme; bike centered both in the frame and on the three cow array; bike and all cows facing same direction.

Trevor, are all of those bikes from the Victoria metro area? Crazy cross section of the last half century of motorcycle history.

    Pic of the week game

But isn't the sample supposed to be an illustration of the theme? I admit to placing a lot of weight on adherence to theme both in my own pictures and how I vote. For me personally that is the challenge that makes for the fun. But I can understand how those more engaged in photography might...

    Pic of the week game

I am a little unclear on the theme. The sample pic would indicate one's bike plus three of anything (in that case arches). But submissions so far show one's bike included in the three (bikes). Which? Either?
