I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Thanks for the link to your Road Trip Prep. Those bags came out really nice...and fixing the fuel petcock...and the maintenance checklist that had lots of feedback! I also love that your bike resembles mine with a black tank. That's about all the similarity...lol. Stay safe! Ed ****

    Returning to the forum =D

Welcome back Joe! I remember your pic posted in post #2 but I don't remember chiming in and greeting you. Your location is Honolulu and that sparked my interest because we lived there from 1999-2003...stationed at Hickam. I didn't ride a motorcycle until 2011 so my experiences were in our 2003...

    New stable mate.

It really is a nice bike…the fairing is very unique and adds to the vintage look of the bike. You did well in snagging it!!! Ed ****

    New stable mate.

Well, shiver me timbers! I read that all wrong. Larry, apologies for the misread. EDIT: Still, not a bad price for the bike itself with fairing. I wouldn't give you a hard time about buying a $200 bike like the owner of the bike shop I took my "T" to (when I first bought it), who is STILL...

Two GS' in decent shape for $700? Glad you came to your senses...and I mean that in a kind way...even though I don't know you. I have seen posts in the past about these lil guys but usually they are overseas...you are the proud owner of two rare bikes (for the US anyway). Congrats! Ed ****

anyone go for a ride today? Pics?

Nice description of your weekend, Rich. Yes, it's quite hot in the TriState area this weekend! Great pics...and you're well-packed for camping. Oh boy, a camping trip! (Got that from another forum years ago where camping trips were described as revealing experiences..lol) Your "T" looks great...

Will an exhaust alone enhance performance?

I increased the Main Jets from 112.5 to 117.5 and kept the original airbox. Some said to goto 120s but I stayed with the 117.5s and it worked out great while out in NM. Pipes look great! The "T" is a beautiful bike. :) Ed ****
