A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

The actual freedom of an old car

I am not sure how they compared to the competitor back in the day. Their frames are prone to turning into swiss cheese. I went down the Cape a couple of years ago to check out a 66 XL. He was asking 20k for the car. Paint was tired but over all it looked like a solid car. Got underneath and...

The actual freedom of an old car

Agreed, I play with cars..... I went on a Galaxie kick a few years ago. On the right is my '65 base model, a kind member here actually went and took it for a spin for me in Ohio and then I had it shipped to me. The one on the left is a 66 XL convertible that I bought from an elderly couple in...

Old Hondas are cool too, in fact they are Dreamy

Yup, great looking bikes and these 70's Hondas are getting tougher to find, especially at a reasonable price. My first street bike at 15 years old was a1976 Honda 550 in the brown color scheme. I am always keeping my eye out for the right one.

    Gene Hackman

I listened to a show that mentioned the known to the public details. I am thinking he found her on the bathroom floor which was traumatic, headed towards the door for help and he suffered a heart attack. Doesn't seem like a crime was committed to me.

If you are in a state that requires a title for these old relics, I would hold out for one with a title. There are ways around it, but it would have to be a special bike for the effort. Good luck in your search.

The END is near (California guys)

I have always found it cheaper to purchase a new battery operated drill than to buy replacement batteries. Seems as though someone ought to put some pressure on the manufacturers to sell the batteries for less than the tool or offer a credit/trade-in value for the batteries. Not sure why these...

The END is near (California guys)

Stabil preserved the fuel in my generator for years, I'll bet 5-6 years. Just burned it last week and started easily and not even a sputter after 20 hours of use. I always keep the tank full, which I think is 8 gallons + an additional two 5 gallon jugs. That should keep me going for about 36...

The END is near (California guys)

It's a rare event, but I just used my Generac for 20 hours due to an odd warm winter rain/wind event. I bought it because many years ago we were without power in an ice storm for 5 days, never again!

1981 suzuki gs650g on ebay, But they won't ship it

This is a little " work around " paying ebay fees. They are advertising for free, since ebay fees are done at the sale. So, this listing is simply to get people who want parts to contact them and the deal will be made outside ebay.

    Cooley bars

I remember purchasing a set of superbike bars on eBay many years ago. They actually came with a little decal that had Wes Cooley's signature. Thinking maybe they were Emglo, but not sure. I do know they were spot on, as I had originals as well.
