    I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

    Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

  • Returning Visitors

    If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

    If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

    I have found a great deal on a 520 chain converstion kit. its for a gsxr 600 97-00. frnt sprocket is 15 rear is 45 cahin is a 108. My question is will this work on my 1979 gs 750? thanks

    no spark on 2 & 3

    could also be your ignition, check to see if the points are firing, or switch your electronic ign wires and if it switches plugs wires it is your ignt.

    Converting to 530 chain

    I was going to do the same thing as you. just one tooth up front to get a lil more topend. Let me know what you do and were are you getting the chain and sprockets ffrom? Thanks good luck

    So living in the mile high area, I can turn my advance wya up right? I know this is true on a chevy 350, you can turn the advance way up.

    Dont worry i know how you feel, Had to take apart my gs motor 3 or 4 times just to get it right. Now i am haveing problems with my dyna s. But at least you learn alot through your mistakes. have a good one mate

    GS850 top end on GS750? Anyone done this?

    I cant rmember who did it but they had to use a dremal tool to make the casings accept the bigger jugs. I beleive you will also have to use the 850 head. Besides that i am pretty sure it is a direct bolt on. About the head thing i know on sporters hd that you can use the 883 heads on a 1200 big...

    electrical issues...

    ive tried it but i think you have to make sure the starter is grounded. My starter was out because once i got it grounded it barley turned. good luck

    Well that makes more sense to me now. I had the instruction booklet i just didnt have the right tools. I had a light like it calls for but it was for too high of voltage. After i get it back form the dyna place i will for sure time it before ever running it. thanks for all the input and help

    yeah maybe i'll let them take care of it. The guy told me that if they cant fix it that they will maybe give a good deal on a new one. i dont have any receipts or nothing for it, just a warranty paper but he said that doesn't matter so i hope it works out. tanks for the help jake have a good one.

    I could of swarn i have heard that electronic ignition don't really have to be timed because they are electronicaly timed, but i dont know. But i dont think my timing is the problem.

    Yeah i switch right after you told me. My sensor dont seem to be burnt up yet, yesterday i did some adjusting on the plate and it no longer bogs down as bad. just some times. I agree with you i have made plenty of stupid mistakes, but boy have i learned alot from this forum. thanks
