I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

Roger Would you be willing to take the measurements of that rubber spacer and either post them or pm them to me? I believe I can make one from some scrap rubber from work.

Actually I don’t think the studs are as long as I stated. Is that a stamped steel wedge or rubber?

That looks pretty close. I seem to be missing a spacer piece. I have 2 studs coming out of the seat pan about 2.5” long and the piece with the pins. If I put together, not enough clearance to fit the seat. I plan on fabing something unless someone has the parts they want to get rid of.

Could someone post a pic or 2 of the underside front of a 1100gk seat pan? I have a 84 1100gk with a modified 1000g seat on it. I would like to return to a oem setup. I?ve done several parts searches and have not found anything pertaining to the front mounting pins that slide into the clips near...

    Break a leg?

Pretty sure I have no luck at all...unless it's bad! A week ago this past Saturday about a dozen of my local riding friends were out putting on a few miles checking out a semi local restaurant. Ended up at a local fundraiser to listen to the band for a while. A nice end to a decent day, until it...

    Fuel guage

I have an 86 GS1150 with a dynojet stage 3 kit, pod filters and aftermarket exhaust. My issue is the fuel guage reads much faster the the fuel being used. I've been monitoring the mileage and am getting around 38mpg. Over the weekend I was at 130 miles on the tank, guage read empty, had to...

I have been looking at tires for a little while. Spent a couple hours the other night price shopping on several different web sites. Ive not mixed tires before so it will be a new expierence. Anyway, by customer review, tread life, shipping and cost I decided on the Avon roadrider 130-90v 17...

    1986 1150 tire options

I'm going to dust off the 1150 this year and ride it as my primary bike. I have been looking at tires, and have decided on either the Bridgestone BT45's or the Pirelli sport demon...so far. My question is which is more durable? or any other suggestions? I generally dont ride crazy aggressive a...

Bike wrecked by a left turner

Glad to hear your mostly OK. I can relate(see "my crash story") I had the same helmet, saved my life as well, no question in my mind. unfortunately, in my case, I listened to an agent who told me I had enough coverage. I was foolish enough to listen to him. The other driver had state minimum...
