A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

    Possible build?

It might be easier to just move the 1100 motor to the 750 frame. At least that's what it sounds like to me.

    Cafe Suzuki

I like it! Of course it needs K&N filters or velocity stacks and that seat leaves a bit to be desired. I think you should build it :)

    GS1100E Cafe fairing installation

I purchased another Wes Cooley fairing from "Dude", I haven't bought the actual windscreen yet. The new fairing is for the other '82 1100EZ that I'm slowly (very slowly) building. This time, I'm gonna stand it off just a little further from the headlight than I did on the red one in the...

I've watched so many of the tags lately and said to myself, wow that's less than a mile away, the current tag is a couple miles away unfortunately they have me working twelve hours a day, seven days a week and will be for at least two more weeks. Maybe after that I'll jump back in. :)

    luggage rack for my 1100E

Looks great and I might be interested but, I have three questions. How much are you asking? How does the aft mount attach? and It appears that the seat lock is covered by the center rail, how do you release the seat without removing the rack if it is in fact blocking the seat lock? It might...

I received an email with questions about this thread so I decided to resurrect it and update it a little. :) In my last post I mentioned the toolbox and wanting it painted to match the bike, here it is: Hopefully sometime soon I'll be adding some graphics to the box.

    new boots?

Bike Bandit, Babbitts online, etc. It's hard to know exactly seeing as you didn't state which model or year bike. I bought some new boots for my '82 1100EZ from Babbitts, can't remember how much but will say they were cheaper than buying from ebay and brand new.

It's just a panoramic right? The background is not specific, right? Just want to clarify. Pretty sure my camera will do panoramics.
