I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

    Not sure what to try.

This morning I checked the float height, which was correct. I checked the plugs which were very sooty, so figured even with the Airbox side opened it was too rich. So I cleaned the plugs, reset the air/fuel screws and replaced the 115, ( V and H recommended main jet size), with standard (?)...

    GS750 Airbox, Air Filter Sealing.

Done the weatherstripping on the horizontal mid shelve, and also the side covers. The NEW rubbers arrived today. Shocked, shocked at how good they seal/fit against the airbox, and how soft and flexible they are. Wow. The old ones must be 44 years old and are rigid, possibly shrunk, and they have...

    GS750 Airbox, Air Filter Sealing.

Waiting for new rubbers to arrive, and Ive bought some weatherseal to do the Air Box covers. I was thinking, that adding weatherseal to the top of the air filter would seal it against its bracket. I've just read the, ' Air Intake System Repair-GS850G by BassCliff ' on here, and its not...

    GS750 Airbox Clamps Mikuni (78)

Whats your opinion on these clamps? Do you think these would stretch , elongate, over time and not fasten so tight? Would it be worthwhile replacing these, or would a quick straighten with a plier make them good as new? They tighten to the point that they butt against each other, ATM.

Disscussion, Importance of, Vacuum, (tubes) in carbs

Thank you, very useful. The choke on these carbs is actually an enrichener which suppies raw fuel so lack of fuel under normal running conditions appears to be the problem. .................................(Or too much air! Which would make a lot of sense I think.).................Thanks.

Disscussion, Importance of, Vacuum, (tubes) in carbs

Just got this reply on an other forum ( excuse me) do they contradict? Normally if vacuum isn't required then line's should be plugged otherwise you have a huge air leak

Disscussion, Importance of, Vacuum, (tubes) in carbs

I have been rebuilding a GS750 78, ( USA import) here in Scotland, for a few years, most recently, a head skim, valve timing, ignition timing. Carbs have been, apart, a few times, cleaned, a few times, on and off, a few times, jets swapped , a few times, etc. Latest issue was, not firing on 1...
