I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

I attempted to use Bike Cliffs website to access the wiring diagram for my bike (http://gsarchive.bwringer.com/bikecliff/images/gs650wiring.html) but it looks like its defunct. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

    Caliper cleaning/old brake fluid

I?ve torn my calipers down, and the pistons are in great shape, but the actual part of the caliper that holds the piston has brown stains from the old brake fluid that was sitting for god knows how many years. ive cleaned the calipers with brake kleen (enough to where the paint is mostly off)...

    what size pods for gs650

I know, Im horrible for wanting pods on the bike. Dynojet Jet kit ordered. Spoke with a shop that has done a ton of rebuilds (but typically only on classic british bikes or classic bmws) that has the vacuum set up to try and help me tune. Im having trouble determining what size pods will fit...

    Brake fluid not coming out

Thanks Ed! Got the new seals ordered from partzilla. Looks like they ran out of brake pads but at least I can get the seals ordered. The piston doesnt have any rust upon first glance so that?s awesome. to clean, should i just use any old brake cleaner, or do you have a brand recommendation...

    Brake fluid not coming out

Thank y?all for the help! Next question- I already sourced a front MC on eBay that was ?pulled off a functional gs650?. Is my best bet to do the same thing for the rear mc? I know I need to replace all the brake lines & inspect the calipers, but do I need to replacing the master cylinders as...

    Brake fluid not coming out

Because we?re trying to establish a baseline, see if there was pressure on the line, parts moving in the caliper etc, before jumping to the most expensive solution. Regardless, shouldn?t the fluid be removed before disassembling everything?

    Brake fluid not coming out

Well technically fluid hasn?t come out of either MC when I tried to bleed the brakes, but the front MC resevior is empty, so I just assumed that there was no brake fluid in there (probably a naive assumption). There was no pressure in the system in the front (no resistance when I pulled the...

    Brake fluid not coming out

I?m trying to get all the brake fluid out of the bike (there?s brown fluid in the rear m/c). Followed the steps that I would do on any other bike (hose on bleeder valve, connected to trash receptacle. Pump the brake, crack the bleeder value, close bleeder value, release brake). No fluid is...

rewire bike? What to do next

Why do pods? Well you see..... this is my first rebuild (I have help), and I may have gotten super frustrated just trying to remove the damn carbs and almost cut off the manifold (im not sure what that part is called, the plastic sleeve between the carbs and the airbox). Pulling it out WAS a...

rewire bike? What to do next

I have about 20,000 invested in my Sportster 😂 (but I?ve owned it for years). I?m no stranger to dumping money into a bike that would never be worth the value for what I?ve put into it. Does dynojet work with Suzuki?s this old? I tried to look it up on their page but it didn?t have any licenses...

rewire bike? What to do next

New here. I got a GS650 for free, and had to remove the carbs to try to rebuild. The bike has been sitting for years (garage kept). In order to remove the carbs I had to unbolt a ton of parts, including the bracket that cradled the fuse box. Should I try to find a new wiring harness or whats...
