A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

    Vacuum petcock

I have wished hard it was so, but No.... You can remove the backplate and thereby rotate the vacuum port, but not the inlet or outlet.

    Vacuum petcock

Yes, if I'm looking at the right manual for a (16valve?) 750, they don't mention reserve or prime and the petcock is quite different to look at,..flatter and closer to the tank, while the 750T has a "normal" petcock with RES ad Prime... If I had to guess, a "normal" might fit per the holes on...

Hi, Occire...passing thought; the fender serves as forkbrace on these. There's a metal brace in them so if you can find one, you can hack it it to suit the bobber ... versus a pricey after-market thing. I wonder if an 850 fender would fit? ...always worth looking up this generation of suzukis...

Time to repaint a nearly perfect tank :)

Oh yes! do share "how it goes"! I 've made very similar attempts trying to save unobtainable* decals and with less forethought than you're applying so I'm in the gallery for sure. (*unobtainable =truly unobtainable or even beyond the cost of what it's worth in my world....)

Time to repaint a nearly perfect tank :)

"margins" aka tape borders are a pain, but you'll probably be fine ... .still, if you do end up needing new stripes, consider that you can replicate that pattern with two wide-ish stripes from the auto-detailing department...that is how I replicate them when I have had to..off course, putting...

I've toyed with the idea too...I'd go with similar to the third ( the darlington setup) from the link below. It usually takes a bit of tinkering with the capacitor size. I don't think you'd need to bother regulating the circuit's voltage, (per a bit of variation between 12 and 14.5) but you'd...

that also brings up an interesting sidebar, Grimly-visibility of signals from the side...some of the add ons i see advertised would only be seen from straight ahead let alone from a bit of an angle ,blocked by something.... I had similar on my vetters...now you mention it,the angle of them could...

More than embarassing, it's DANGEROUS! Drivers make assumptions-among many examples you can probably imagine: the car waiting for you at the yellow traffic light sees your left blinker on and turns in front of you.... (surviving)Bikers are used to treating other vehicles' signals with some...

    Interesting tappet wrench-aliexpress

That Amazon one actually looks pretty cheesy compared to the one I got from AliExpress. THIS one though is the same https://www.amazon.ca/Motorcycle-Sco...924J4RFK&psc=1 Indeed I agree...but while costing more, Amazon stuff generally arrives quicker, IF it's shipped by them. but then,again...

yes...if you're familiar with aliexpress, you'll know to click the picture of the thing you want to get the price...also a set of metric gauges too! edit-checking the link on my computer without figuring it out the price says 16 cents which can't be right but it was about 7$ CAN delivered...

haha like that de-ruster!;) I guess a person could get some similar rod and make similar to reach all sorts of places...one thing...experience chipping rust inclines me toward wedge shaped (like a slot-end screwdriver but with some mass behind it) rather than ball-bearing but it's true a...
