A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Seven loose fillings - what? wow

Yes. I put a flatbar there for seat mounting. I plan on redoing the seat mounts this fall since they are only temporary and quite ugly and i will take a look at reinforcing some other places. The current seat mount is placed right in between the shockmounts and should do the trick. I might move...

Next on the list was a silencer mount. Found the one made by the previous owner in the car, it had fallen of due to poor weld and vibration. The new one needed to be rubbermounted so i took some 40x40, notched and drilled in the mill and turned some aluminium bushes to save the rubber from being...

Seven loose fillings - what? wow

The problem is that the black stuff is gigantic and completely dwarfs the tank without the tank cover. Problem 2 is that with all the black fairings on you have to be a gymnast to ride it.

Seven loose fillings - what? wow

Yep! Milled from styrofoam with a 5-axis wooden mill. Made at my university. Should have done them in MDF instead but this was cheaper and quicker in the mill. Some may call it cheating but it's atleast more built than bought.

Seven loose fillings - what? wow

Thanks for the support, i guess i've come to the right place. The seat was a true pain, aprox 200-300 hours from CAD to first finished seat but thats what it takes when you don't find what you like on ebay and doing it the way i did with a reusable mold. I'd love to have some sidecovers but it...
