A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

    Sub 300lb 4-stroke street/scrambler?

Don't think these are sold in the states Not a bad option. I'll keep my eye out. Doesn't have to be Suzuki though if you have some other recommendations. I'm 6' 3" so that would be comical :xsmilie_mrgreen: I'd like to be able to ride two up so I don't think there would be enough room.

    Sub 300lb 4-stroke street/scrambler?

I recently got a camper van, and I'm looking for a small <300lb 4-stroke bike that I could put on the back of it, and was wondering if anyone had any experience/recommendations. I'd like it to be a Suzuki, but I'm only aware of the GS250 and a bunch of two strokes. I have my eyes on a TW200, or...

    GS750T shorter clutch cable

Just an update for future reference: Motion Pro 45 1/4 in. Clutch Cable - 04-0151 This is the one I actually went with. I'm using super sport bars. Parts Unlimited 43 3/4 in. Clutch Cable - K280027 This one was too short but may be useful to someone running even lower bars/clip-ons.

    GS750T shorter clutch cable

Yeah they were pretty high. It routes through along the frame, through the carb boots on cylinder 1 and 2, and then ends on the right side of the engine.

    GS750T shorter clutch cable

I am looking for a shorter clutch cable as I got new bars. The current one is 52 inches. New one needs to be around 48-46 inches and fit to a 16v TSCC engine. Is there a specific model that has a short enough cable or can Motion Pro make them to specific lengths? Is it possible to trim the...

    Oversized Clutch Springs?

My assumption is a previous owner of the donor bike added the longer springs but I'm unsure to as why... Bike was also a 750T so same engine... They have the same number of plates and stacked all together they have the same thickness. The baskets, hubs, and pressure plates seem the same between...

    Oversized Clutch Springs?

Thanks, but I have an inch pound torque wrench. The bolt exploded before I got anywhere close. I'm just confused why there were longer than oem springs when everything else seems the same.

    Oversized Clutch Springs?

My thoughts too. What's up with the bigger than stock springs that I took out? Could they be from a larger bike?

    Oversized Clutch Springs?

Hey all, I've had to swap a new motor into my 82 GS750T, and after the first startup, I noticed the clutch would not disengage. I tried letting it warm up and shifting into first or second and it would immediately die. I tried adjusting the cable on both ends, but found no success. So I...

    GS750T airbox boots

I actually have an airbox from a 1979 parts bike and the boots are too small unfortunately :( Wintergreen oil worked wonders though. Went from feeling like plastic to brand new rubber!

    GS750T airbox boots

Yup got them soaking right now. Used Xylene as it seems to be what they use in Rubber Renue. May try 3D printing some in the future as I've seen some people have success with it. Want to get a printer for some of the side panels anyways, so it'll be something I'll look into.

    GS750T airbox boots

Got in touch with them. They are discontinued and not available for purchase. Thanks for looking.

    GS750T airbox boots

Yeah that's where I looked first. They seem specific to that model, but I was wondering if anyone had tried to fit other model's. What is the longevity of the wintergreen method? A little research has led me to believe that it lasts long enough to get the carbs on, but the rubber will...

    GS750T airbox boots

Nah I've already replaced those. Those go between the head and carbs. I need the rubber between the airbox and carbs.

    GS750T airbox boots

Yikes... They are hard but seem to be in decent shape. I'll try a wintergreen concoction and report back.

    GS750T airbox boots

Trying to source some new airbox boots for my 750T, but they are not available on any of the OEM parts websites. Does anyone know of a source or interchangeability between models? It seems some 1100's and 750's shared airbox boots, but I'm unsure as the 750T's seem to be exclusive :|

    Unusual carbon build-up?

I'll be sure to check. I have another block and set of pistons so whichever is more in range I'll probably end up using.

    Unusual carbon build-up?

    Most likely. Leaky valve seals?
