I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

Replacing just the fuel fuel lines

Looks like I was lucky. Leaving them with fuel in it for a week, and the problem fixed itself.

Replacing just the fuel fuel lines

Thanks everyone. I've got aluminum T fittings, transfer tubes, and an impact driver on the way.

Replacing just the fuel fuel lines

The T fitting is leaking on my 79 GS750 Mikuni carbs and I was wondering how far in the carb cleaning guide I need to go to replace the fuel T and the crossover fittings? The bike is running fine other than leaking fuel from the T fitting. Is just removing them from the rack, or do I also need...

    No reference carb?

I went back after doing some more reading. My problem was a didn't block off the vacuum line to the petcock. That was causing the vacuum leak. Once I plugged that, I got my idle and my sync all set.

    No reference carb?

I went back and did it again, got 1,2, and 4 dead on matching. 3 is a little off, but it's so close I'm gonna call it good enough.

    No reference carb?

Any tips on adjusting the sync so it's lower?

    No reference carb?

I went to sync my carbs on my 77 GS750, but I found carb 3 to also be adjustable. I adjusted the carbs to each other, but shouldn't carb 3 not be adjustable? I also had issues with a high idle after my adjustments. To the point where I'm almost out of idle adjustment nob threads. I got it to...

Help Identifying Correct Jets on a 77 GS750

Thanks. Where would I find the numbers on the carb they reference, like 45010 or 45011?

Help Identifying Correct Jets on a 77 GS750

Previous owner had pods, and a shop re-jet the carbs with 115 main jets I put the stock air box back on, and I'm looking to replace the main jet with a genuine Mikuni jet in the stock size. So poke around to see what I can learn here, and then I head over to Bass Cliffs site and read through...

    Longer Starter Motor Cable

Got it. I'll run an extra ground cable from the crank case back up to the negative battery terminal. Thanks for the picture!

    Longer Starter Motor Cable

I thought that was the function of the starter grounding through it's mounts to the engine. Would grounding the battery to the frame do the same thing?

    Longer Starter Motor Cable

Can you tell me more about this return cable? All I see on the bike, and the wiring diagram, is the one cable coming from the starter motor.

    Longer Starter Motor Cable

    Thank you both!

    Longer Starter Motor Cable

I'm finally getting around to doing the wiring on my project '77 GS750, and I am using the Revival Cycles starter motor relay. I have the relay all nice and situated in my new electrical tray, but now I need a longer cable to power the starter motor. Any ideas on where to get one, or what is...

    GS750 with 34mm Forks

Here it is loosened. They are almost 37mm with no tension on the bolt.
  18. A

    GS750 with 34mm Forks

I think this may be the answer. Tightened all the way down, the clamp measures 36mm, so it makes sense it would go on 37mm forks.

    GS750 with 34mm Forks

I just went to double check my measurements, and of course the battery on the calipers dies. Looking at the analog scale it does look like I have might have 35mm forks. They measured ALMOST 35mm, maybe 34.75mm. I went to check the diameter of the new triple clamp tightened all the way down...

    GS750 with 34mm Forks

I double checked everything with my digital calipers. The forks and the old triple clamp are definitely 34mm, and the new one is 35mm. This makes me wonder what bike the front end that's on there now came from then. The forks only have brake caliper mounting on one side like the 77 should...
