A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

    Twinpot Brake Upgrade on GS550E - GS750C - GS1000C

The brackets work with a nt bros rotor. (Honda equivalent P/N is 45120MN8000) Edit: took a 1982 GS650 speedo shield (suppose any of the later models should work) cleaned and re-painted it. fits nicely, ended up shaving another 1/2 lb off the front end once I removed monks disc spacer...

Twinpot Brake upgrade on 78 Skunk

Successfully converted my 1977 GS550. I did things a little different than standard went with a W800 master (12mm bore), MD1124LS 320mm Rotor and an EX500 caliper. The brake master was a bust, but the rotor worked out rather nicely. It’s the No drill original fork option that has been asked...

pyramid parts BR21 steering bearings issue and soultion

If you’re thinking about replacing your steering bearings on a pre-79 GS550 and 750 the pyramid parts BR21 kit probably won’t work right out of the box. I choose it since all balls stem mod was beyond my capabilities, and it seemed like pyramids kit didn’t require any mods. I was mistaken and...

    New to me 1977 GS550

it's a bit of a Frankenstein, it was Mazda 86 b2000 that's been converted to a 4x6 dump truck, I'm in the process of redoing the bed and engine. Found out the only thing holding the bed on was the ram and 2 nearly sheared 5/8" bolts as pivots. it was also converted to coil springs, but they...

    New to me 1977 GS550

Hello, As a bit of a summer project I picked up a non running gs550 with a number of spare odds and ends. Had a bit of a mess about cataloguing parts, cleaning the carbs and as good prep work would have it fired right up...just long enough for the original brake hose to give up, still has the...
