If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

Need Help Valuing My "Unique" Exhaust

Hello, I'm trying to get an idea of what my RC Performance 4 to 1 exhaust might be worth. I"m considering going back to stock pipes. I'm under the impression this is a bit of a sought after pipe due to the history of RC Performance, it being relatively uncommon, and it genuinely being a good...

Why Won't Choke Return to Closed Position?

Nessism chuck hahn I went and checked and indeed, it is binding up at the choke rod somehow/where. I just went through the carbs recently so it makes sense. Hopefully I can fix it without having to pull the carbs back off. Could it be caused by the screws that attach the choke rod to the...

Why Won't Choke Return to Closed Position?

You can watch a short clip of my issue at the linked to Imgure post. When I open the choke all the way, it pulls the arm up just fine. But when I go to return the choke to the closed position, the cable end just slides through without pushing the arm back down. Am I missing a spring or...

    79 GS1000 Part Identification Help

Nessism I've been camping out on eBay to find one. There are a couple on there but unfortunately they're part of full carb sets that are being sold for parts and I'd rather not buy a hole set of carbs just for this one part. I'm going to hold off a bit, but if the individual part doesn't come...

    79 GS1000 Part Identification Help

I need to replace a part on my carburetor setup but the parts diagrams don't seem to call it out. It's the throttle cable pulley that sits between carbs 2 and 3. Anyone know a part number? Having a hard time finding a replacement right now. I've circled the part in the photos.

Hello, I'd like to order a couple of the o-ring kits from you. Forgive my ignorance but do you need anything other than year and model? I have a '79 GS1000 with what I am pretty certain are the VM26SS carbs. I am doing my first carb rebuild for this bike, and I will need to rejet and tune...

    Mikuni Carb Identification Help

I could use some help identifying my carburetors. I know they're Mikuni from the stamps on each carb, but the rest is a mystery to me. Next to the Carburetor spec line in the owner's manual, the original owner wrote "29mm smooth bores." He also bored the engine to 73mm if that is any help...

1980 GS450 Front End Swap Compatibility

I'm thinking of swapping out the stock front end on my 1980 gs450e for something beefier. I'm thinking of swapping in inverted forks. In another forum a member said "The steering stem from a '89 gsxr 750 is a direct bolt-on if you want conventional forks. For upside-down fork try a 92 gsxr...

New Owner of 1980 GS450 - Carb Help Needed

I asked about purchasing the partial CV kit for twins, which I'm pretty sure is just half of the kit you've linked to. He already told me those won't fit my carburetors, though. Have you successfully used them on a 80'-82' 450?
