A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

I searched for new ones, but now I've found a used GS 500 starter motor in very good condition for the same price. There's only one thing bothering...

    Starter motor gear shaft problem?

I tested the starter motor. I connected the clamps to the battery, grounded the negative terminal to the starter, and connected the positive to the contact. It started to spin. I'll do all the mentioned, but first I need to put the motorcycle back together.

    Starter motor gear shaft problem?

I hear a click, and the engine doesn't turn over. I thought the problem was the starter relay, so I replaced it. But I still hear the click, and again the engine doesn't turn over. I started it by push-starting, and after that, it started 4-5 times without any issues, right away. Then, the same...

Carb question for 1985 Suzuki GS 450 L

Before I do something stupid, what is the easiest way to pull the carbs out? I'm not sure if I need to remove the airbox to make more space for pulling the carbs, or is it possible to remove them without touching the airbox?

    Problem with a 1987 Suzuki GS 450 L

Hi everyone! Recently I bought my first motorcycle. It is a 1987 Suzuki GS 450 L. The bike ran perfectly until now. The bike starts cold very well, but when I ride it for 10 to 15 minutes, it stalls and cuts off. It is like losing the power when I hit the throttle. After 10 minutes starts again...
