A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

    The Little GS125 Carb Issues

Okay I have an update. Bike now starts and idles however after a rev the idle still hangs. I've done a spray test all around the carb and boots etc and there is no leak. However.. how can I test if the slide has an air leak around it?

    The Little GS125 Carb Issues

Finally got an airbox for it. Pulled the carb again today and went through every port cleaning with carb cleaner and some compressed air. However the bike still wants to rev to infinity. If I use the choke the revs come down and it acts like a normal bike again. There are no air leaks, all...

    The Little GS125 Carb Issues

I'm going to see if another Suzuki airbox will fit the frame mounts and try and use it, I'll see what a factory filter does for the hanging idle etc.

    The Little GS125 Carb Issues

Unfortunately that carb diagram is different to my bike, according to a local parts guide main jet is a 95. Looks like early gs125 ran the slide carb that mine has, later versions ran the round carb with diaphragm.

    The Little GS125 Carb Issues

Jet sizes are original and I can't see any identifying marks on them. I don't really want to stay with a pod but I'm finding it hard to get an air box in good condition. I'm trying to see if any other air boxes will fit but can't find a guarantee yet

    The Little GS125 Carb Issues

I know they aren't a popular choice being a small cc bike but this nugget that I have needs some help to get back on the road. It's a 1982 Suzuki Gs125es. Single cylinder bike runs a Mikuni slide carb, later models ran a Mikuni round? Carb. I'll start this off with the bike has a cheap eBay...

    My Return to 2 wheels. A 1982 GS125.

It's been almost 10 years since I've been on 2 wheels. This little beauty came up Cheap an hr away so I bit the bullet and bought it. She has her issues, missing a side cover, damaged seat, pod filter on it so it runs horribly and a Mikuni slide carb that I can't find any specs on. I know the...

    Bike ID Required

I don't mind restoring something, and it was very cheap for a bike here in Australia. GS used to be everywhere for sale and it is definitely a different market from when I bought my last bike 12 years ago.

    Bike ID Required

I believe you may be right with the 550, all the 750s I found had a larger airbox where as this one has a shallow airbox. It is very cheap and would be a project obviously! As long as I can find all the parts for it. I'm in Australia so we can do a check on a system to see if it is stolen etc
