Those bars look really nice! I think you'll find you have much better control with the lower bars, and 'faster' feeling steering. I also ditched the silly bar clamp cover.

The bike looks great, a headlight and some rear signals and it will be sweet.

Still gotta do something about that seat though.

All finished and already drove it 500 miles. It's awesome! So much fun to ride. I do miss the windshield though. I was thinking of the National cycle street shield, as seen here.

        yer missin a bolt

you do of course have and will replace the missing bolt in the steering stem, wont you.

great bars, I also have a silly centre cover spare.

With the headlight wires, try and work them in a circle around the inside of the bucket, the ties are there to hold them each side.

        Cheers john

A bolt? I wasn't aware there was a bolt, I did however buy a nylon cap that I put in there. Looks good.

Yes, I did, those pictures were slightly old. I drove it 500 miles this weekend already.

Haha no! It doesn't look too horrendous in person though, but it definitely does need replacing.

I'm going to try to a little more scenic area to take a few pictures, rather than in my messy shop. ha

Great looking bike! I really like it a lot.

Yes there should be a steering stem bolt in the top of the triple tree. You need to replace that.

              Hope you enjoy the bike!

How crucial is this bolt? I mean this bike has been in the family for over 3 years now, and the bolt was never there, so I can only assume the previous owner didn't have it in there for who knows long either. It drives fine. Weird, stuff? haha. I'll order it anyways just curious.

It's the main bolt that hold the upper tripple tree on. Pretty important.

Well now I feel like I have been living on the edge for the past year and half haha. I ordered the bolt, and washer. It was 11.69 plus 6.99 shipping.

Thanks guys, I never knew I was missing anything, and would have never known.
