    'L' model Handlebars

Ok, heres the deal, I want to know what you L model riders are using for handlebars?
I am 6'3 with a 36" inseam and the stock bars just don't cut it. They seem to be angled too far down and inward. To be sitting upright and comfortable, they need to have less angles to them.
Anybody got pics of what you are using?
I bought a set of drag bars, put them on but they have me leaning too far forward on the bike. Would be ok on anything BUT the L model.
    Any help??

I was thinking about getting a set of these:

for my L. But not sure. I like the stockers they just need to be a little higher.

I wouldn't mine the stock if I could angle the ends up and out. If I sit with my hands resting above the bars, they sit comfortably right at my wrist area and the only 7/8 bars I have found are lower but have the right pullback and width.

and go to handlebars. They have all the dimensions at the bottom of the page so you can sit on the bike and try to emulate what they'll feel like. This is what I did, I have the Honda GL1100 replica I believe, but they may not be what you want; theyre not that different from stock. Here's a few pics:

I'm using something from the scrap yard. They look like regular G bars.

Those bars seem to turn out a lot more than stock at the grips. As for the just to low issue you can grab some 1" risers or bigger dogbone risers.

I'm using the G bars with the 7/8" by 1" risers from GenMar.

I turfed the L bars and went to a set of 'Euro' bars, they are much sportier, but I fine the riding position for my rather large frame not quite right. I just ordered a set of Daytona bars today, they have 2 inches more rise, and an inch more pullback, I think they will suit me better on longer rides.

I have the Daytona bars and I like them. I tried the Euros and they were too low for my tachometer to clear the M/C. The Daytonas move your hands down and forward into a much better riding position. I put them on my 1000 with no shield and the slight lean angle is good for highway speeds.

I always thought your bars were a little too far away for you. The Daytonas sound just about right.

So, my Canadian friend, how was your winter? Get much snow? We sure did. Plenty of areas broke records this year.

You guys got hammered, I spent a couple of days in portland a couple of months ago, way more snow than should be allowed!

Our snow is pretty much cleared up now, but we definately had more than our fair share. Gotta love the global warming they promised us, I was all for it, our worst case scenario up here is we become the new Florida and we get too many old people.
