    The S is done

    I really like how the front end turned out. No regrets using the Honda CB1100F fender at all. Looks great on there, to me.





    What a pain to get the tail to line up with the seat trim..got pretty darn close.

          Finally. After 14 months, my '79 GS1000S is pretty much done. A few things to tinker with before it hits the road, but overall, she runs great, everything works, and I'm pretty stoked to say the least. Thanks again for all your interest over the past few months, it's nice to have a cool support system.

              Bike of the Month . . .

              Nvr2old: I noticied from the first paintwork thread you were still using the original Suzuki 1000 rectifier & separate regulator. Might want to replace those with a Honda R&R, they are trouble waiting to happen.

                          Very nice job. Looks like you have cb1100f shocks and front fender. I am ready to start on my 10K mi 78 GS1000 and am thinking Wes Cooley also.

                            I just want to take some time and remember one of the most important reasons why we do these bikes..to ride them. I'm gonna spend some serious time in this bike's saddle this summer. PM me and we can work out details.

                              It's already been said, but that thing is beautiful. I'd rather have your bike as to have a brand new one off the show room floor.
