The S is done
I really like how the front end turned out. No regrets using the Honda CB1100F fender at all. Looks great on there, to me.

Finally. After 14 months, my '79 GS1000S is pretty much done. A few things to tinker with before it hits the road, but overall, she runs great, everything works, and I'm pretty stoked to say the least. Thanks again for all your interest over the past few months, it's nice to have a cool support system.

Stunning bike! Great work nvr2old! That's one of the nicest GS's I've ever seen. What's inside the engine? I'm redoing a 1980 S right now and your thread here is inspiring me. Thanks!Ed

Very nice job. Looks like you have cb1100f shocks and front fender. I am ready to start on my 10K mi 78 GS1000 and am thinking Wes Cooley also.

I just want to take some time and remember one of the most important reasons why we do these bikes..to ride them. I'm gonna spend some serious time in this bike's saddle this summer. PM me and we can work out details.1979 GS1000S,

It's already been said, but that thing is beautiful. I'd rather have your bike as to have a brand new one off the show room floor.
Nice job ! I'm still drooling as i type this.
