Velocity stacks are simply tubes that create a wind tunnel of sorts. VMs dont really need them with pods, but CVs do get a boost out of the concentrated air flow...because air flow is what raises or lowers the slides in CVs.
VMs are mechanically lifted slides, so thus they work well with pods and no velocity stacks.
What bike and carbs are we talking about on your bike???MY BIKES..1977 GS 750 B, 1978 GS 1000 C (X2)

I would rather trust my bike to a "QUACK" that KNOWS how to fix it rather than a book worm that THINKS HE KNOWS how to fix it.

I should restate the part about VMs working well witout velocity stacks...what I should have said is that VMs work better than CVs with pods..not perfectly..but better than CVs seem to do.MY BIKES..1977 GS 750 B, 1978 GS 1000 C (X2)
