RR - how to tell what are the output connections

this is a follow up to my thread about a dried-up battery

i am not too sure if my rr has been connected properly (it is supposedly an rr used on kawasakis)
i know that 3 pins are the input for the stator wires

is there a way to tell (test) which output pin is which (i.e. negative, positive, sense)?

      Care to share?

I looked in a couple of places this morning when I saw your post, and saw that you were asking on other forums, too.
Where did you find the information?

it's an italian catalogue of electrical components

page 59 onwards lists replacement regulators
the bottom of each section tells you the oem part equivalent

        greetings from down under

Yep, right there it is, on the top of page 64.

I have bookmarked that site. I have a device at home that I bought on eBay as a replacement for my wife's r/r. It was labelled as a Gold Wing unit, but I could not get it to work. I am not sure if it is one of the early units that is only a rectifier, or maybe I connected to the wrong terminals. With this site I will be able to check it when I get home in a couple of weeks.

          Oh yeah, Greetings.
