    Master cylinder stripped

The banjo bolt thread on my MC stripped out on my 78 1000 project.Do they even make a 10x1.00 Helicoil?I don't have a Helicoil set up here so was going to take it to the local shop.Guessing I'm going to need a 10x1.25 double banjoOther rethread options?

Check the Timeserts website..They may have that size. Ive used timeserts before and really like how easy they work. I add a drop of red loctite to them and done.

Why not just REPLACE the M/C with another one?

Rather fix this one, insert will be stronger than the aluminum ones+ I want to keep the round style MC+it was a hassle to get this one from you.

Helicoil does have a 10x1 inside thread insert

McMaster-Carr is the complete source for your plant with over 595,000 products. 98% of products ordered ship from stock and deliver same or next day.

edit: that link didn't work well... on the side, where it says internal thread size, click 10mm, and it'll bring up a selection.

Take a banjo bolt with you when you take them the master...just to be sure they use the right one.
