After using this awesome site to rebuild my 1980 450E, this was the first stop after I picked up this 1979 GS750E for $400. When I put my 450 back together i wish that I had documented it more so this is now my chance for the 750. Be warned though, I'm in grad school going for my Doctorate in Physical Therapy so my time is scarce but not nearly as scarce as my budget.
The seller delivered it for another $20 because he couldnt get it started for me. When I got it home I immediately started cleaning it up to see what I had. I swapped the bars for the stock GS450 bars and took off the bags and luggage rack and it looks way better.
however, I still like the bags and I plan on keeping them on. Not too many GS's on here with bags either. For the bags I plan to buy some factory pin striping to help them fit in a little better.
More to come...
