A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Not the exact same size as the one I removed. These are 'slightly' smaller in diameter and I think these are also the correct female side terminals for the other connector. I'll check them against my signal switch when I get back home and make sure.

How was your little ride?

Those look fine to me.Still have to go on that ride,it's only 5:42and dark as I'm writing this.Got a couple of hours yet as a freind is meeting up with us.

When I asked, I hadn't expected you to be online until you returned from the ride.

The best looking rides are right at daybreak... kind of like when you're sitting out in the woods all by yourself and the sun is just starting to come up.

I have an internal "alarm clock" that goes off at 5am.Drives my wife crazy wondering why I can't sleep in.Got to do something while she sleeps;)

dont know if you have a princess auto near you but they have a terminal tool (6-1) i think it was like 5 bucks looks similar to the one i have

Yes we do,opened 6 months or so ago.Off to look in the catalog.
Thanks!

Should work just fine...but your wallet will be $23 lighter. First try what I suggested on one of the burnt terminals.

How do you think I took this connector apart?

The Red one is the one I have. It wasnt like that it was a different type.
Possible for you to take a picture of it?might help when I go looking.Seems like a good tool to have Dale so it seems worth while to look into.

Got the harness out.Hadn't got a good look at the harness side connector. The ground one is melted 1/2 way to the empty place under it.Yeah I got some choice words:mad:

OK I've had enough of trying to mess with the old connector.Think either the heat or time have made the wires very hard to remove.Going to get the eBay one^^^ and do a separate ground connection.
