Almost 30 years ago since it was on and at my age ...... I thought it provided more suspension responsiveness in curves.
History has shown 'Fork Brace' can bring out some serious debate of their usefulness and safety, but on several bikes I've never had an issue with this brand or another.
I've got an pdf file of the original article in Motorcyclist 1985 about Fork Braces and mods to the front forks if you have an interest in what I had done long ago. The file is too large for me to put up in an attachment in the message.
