DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Can anyone tell looking at this ebay ad what year mirrors this guy has on his bike? I have the exact same bike, and kind of like the look of the rectangular mirrors rather than the round ones which came with the bike. Thanks-Larry.

That bike and mine are an '82. Any idea if '83 mirrors have the same mount/threads as an '82?

Thanks guys.
those are original mirrors in good shape.I have the same ones on my 83 650.They say suzuki and the bottom. Dennis kirk has lots of mirrors that will fit your bike.Just make sure its the 10mm thread.

Rocketman, I have the same ones that I took off my 83 GS750T if your in need of some. They are not perfect but they are 23 years old.

I appreciate the generous offer Tracy, but decided to stay original and stock. As a matter of fact I had a small dent on my right side view mirror(don't know where the dent came from) and just ordered and received a NOS Suzuki one from Flat Out Motorcycles in Indiana. Brand spankin' new 24 years old in a Japanese Suzuki box for only $11.00! Go figure, the left side mirror was about $34 (glad I didn't need that side; guess they're in shorter supply). But thanks again for the offer. =D>

I have rectangular mirrors on my 1982 GS650G and I hate them - I don't like their angularity. I had to pick them up after one of my round mirrors broke on my Durham, NC/Toronto, ON run. If anyone has the old-style round mirrors I'll happily trade.

I just ordered and received a brand new, right out of the Suzuki Japanese box round right side mirror for only $11.00 from Flat Out Motorcycles in Indiana. Took only a couple of days. Here's their contact info.

The left side one was about $34 I think, and I don't know why one side costs more than the other, but look up your part numbers on their microfiche, call Chris and away you go. Out with the square and in with the round. Good luck. P.S. I'd send you my old right side one, but it got a dent and that's why I replaced it. And for $11, why not?!
