I just picked up a 'parts' GS450 for $250 that had been in a minor accident to supplement my existing GS. The right hand pipe on my existing bike is pretty rusted and theres a pretty large something shaking around in the muffler. Now the right pipe on the one I just picked up has this dent in it but it's pretty far forward in the cone so I was wandering what these look like on the inside and if I pulled the dent out if the pipe would still be useable. Since its toast anyway I'm going to give it a go and see what happens.
If not - I was thinking about getting these DCC 'shorty' mufflers since they're cheap and simple. Is there any reason to get more expensive mufflers? I know that I'm in for a hassle with jetting, etc.
