Hi guys,

I left it on prime. I know.
Now carb 4 is pouring gas out from the vent tube. Drastic overflow when the bike is running.

I checked the float height, it's ok at 24mm (W/o gasket of course). I made sure it's not stuck. I changed the float needle valve with a new one. It's still pouring, only from carb 4...
The petcock is new and only pulls gas upon vacuum.
Oh yeah, I changed the contaminated oil already.

What can it be?
Thanks for you help

Hey Tristan, try banging on the side of the floatbowl with a screwdriver handle. Maybe the float doesn't float anymore?

Thanks Ed, I tried before taking the carbs out. Tried again with your benediction, to no avail.

Did you change gasket/o-ring under your new float needle seat ? Make sure bowl gasket isn't interfering with float.

Thanks for the advice
Yes, I made sure the gasket doesn't interfere with the float.
No, I didn't change gasket/o-ring under your new float needle seat. Would prime mess it up? Anyhow I ordered a kit @ Z1enterprizes yesterday.
I'll try swapping float needles seat today to see if it changes anything.

The springs wear out in the needles and in the attempt to set the float height you bend the tang too much and it touches the seat before the needle seats.

Ok, the carbs are opened. I think I found it.
I noticed the #4 seat wasn't screwed in all the way, slightly lose, thus the gas might have been bypassing the needle valve and pouring directly through the thread.
Screwed it back in, bench tested potential leak with gas, seems ok.
Let's see what a ride says!

I did. It works.
The seat was not tightly screwed in.
Solution
MAKE SURE THE SEAT IS COMPLETELY SCREWED IN

Thanks for your help and reaction time guys
