A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Rustybronco wanted pics of these and I thought I would share here if anyone is looking for some pretty decent looking pegs.

Chrome base, gold inlay surrounding the black Suzuki lettering.

sharp!

sharp!

Those look pretty sharp! Might try a set. Where did you find them, and how much?

All I know is that square block that sticks out is a total leg ripper. If you have these, rub a file to the very corner to take the sharp off.
Ive scraped my leg and or back (while squatting next to them working on another bike) and they are pointy little devils.
Very nice set Chuck. those are sharp. ha!

And filing the edges would rip the chrome plating up anyway. The edges are relieved a bit so they arent razor sharp.

Seems like they are well made.
I had a set , maybe KG or some other vintage brand with the Suzuki....and a newer set without the Suzuki logo. Both similar in design but nasty corners on them.
Yours are very very nice.

Where's Trevor? he should be all over a set of these for his 1100, he's doing a bit of Gold bling with it :D I had a question about these forward pegs..do they really serve a good purpose? I've tried putting my feet up on my crash bars while I'm riding but it seems 'uncomfortable', can anyone chime in on the benefit or cons for these, thanks.

They can be positioned in many places. And with your legs trying to wrap around the engine and tank to get to the crash bars I can see why its uncomfortable. these mount to the bars verticle riser area and put your legs more out away from the tank and engine so I would think it would be much more comfortable.

I really like them for the times on straight rides when I am just cruising.
Mine are not so shiny or well constructed but comfortable on a L model, may not be so nice with drag bars or such, I do not know that though.
