I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

I need to replace the brake light switch for my 78 gs750 E. When looking at bikebandit, i noticed the part number is different between 78 and 79, but the catalog at cycle recycle only has one part for all the suzuki's. the application chart for that part doesn't list my model but it says "works w/ all suzuki clutch style front brake switches"

I'm assuming this means it'll work for mine, and the parts sure look identical. I just dont' wanna order it and find out its the wrong thing.

does anybody know what, if any, differences tehre might be?

also, i'm gettin brake pads at the same time, are the kevlar ones a huge improvement over standard pads? or is it not worth the little extra price

It will work for your bike, these switches were used on lots of models.
No experience with the kevlar pads, let us know how you like em.

The switches are all the same Clutch & brake. Kevlar pads will be hard on the rotors

So you recommend using the factory ones or the plain organic EBC pads? I thought I read on the forum some pretty strong recommendations for the Vesrah pads that contain kevlar. I'd like to have better braking, but I don't want to go through rotors too fast...

You have read strong recomendations for Vesrah brand pads, mine I have been using them for five years in my "little commuter" 1150, included sunday morning " tuning rums etc, with no appreicable wear on the rotors AT ALL!! braking feel was incredibly improved as was power, BTW you DO NOT need to buy Vesrah Kevlar pads as all Vesrah pads contain Kevlar, I used the standard ones and love them, I cannot recommend them highly enough, so much so as soon as I received my "mildly" hotted Katana 1170 I fitted Vesrah pads straight away.
