    A note to old forum members...
    I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

    Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

    Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

    If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

    If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Thanks for the info, I never thought to look in the manual and compare the difference in ohms.
I didn't understand how it worked but I think I have the idea now, in my book it says-

Full = 5-10 ohms
1/2 = 30-35 ohms
empty= 40-60 ohms

So I would need a gauge that will work in the 5 - 60 ohms range. Now for the hard part, to find one.

Thanks Gerry

I just installed gsxr instrument cluster on my gs 1150 and I am going to miss my gas gauge. Does anyone know if this gauge will work on the 1150? Or do you know of any guages that will?

Gerry,

Do you have any pictures of the instrumentation rebuild?

I took a picture of the gsx cluster in place without any plastic on. I will finish the roll up with the plastic in place and post all the pictures. (maybe next week) The guy who built and set up the motor is giving it a once over this week.

I think I have an 1150 fuel guage but there is nothing to mount it in.

Thanks for the offer Scotty but I still have my original cluster that I am going to take apart to mount the gear indicator and if I can use the gas gauge out of it I'll give it a try. I was hoping to find an aftermarket that would be easy to hook up.
