    A note to old forum members...
    I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

    Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

    Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

    If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

    If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

gasket problems

gasket problems
i got a gasket kit off ebay nice gaskets, but was listed as all these models e.t.ed.es..... well my 1983 750e is listed and they do not fit!:mad:
anyone need clutch, mag,ign,oil pan gaskets for anything other than the 83'750ed model?or swap them?? for ones that will?

be careful when getting on line kits, it was listed even said on package for my model but isnt, so i now have 4 gaskets i need to buy that are around 9.00 each! after paying 100 for a damn kit!

1st time out of a lot of bikes this has happened :cool:

Contact the seller before you give up anything. It's been my experience that a seller would do almost anything to keep from getting a "bad" feedback. Hopefully you haven't done that yet. In most cases I get refunded without having to give back the items, in one case I had to send the item back. Anyway, I have ended up getting alot of parts for free :D, if I could only use them :(.
 
True. I received the wrong year side cover for a Honda and they told me to keep it and refunded the money 100%.

i paid 100 bucks for the kit,
i have a solid head gasket so i didnt need the one from the kit, basically i think i could have went oem cheaper

ok the kit was for a 1980-82 750 a bunch of models,i have ignition, head, oil pan,clutch,and generator covers that i dont need , if anyones interested, good quality gaskets, can send pics if wanted, 30 shipped? anyone?
will now move this to for sale area
