A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Last Ride of the Year

Never being one to pass up an opportunity for a ride my son and I welcomed the New Year with one last ride in 2011. On the day after Christmas the Indiana weather continued to be mild. It was a balmy 43 degrees/37 with wind chill. The weather channel said it was the last nice day before snow moved in. I joked with my son, "it's no different than snowmobiling!" We took a nice country ride. It snowed the next day and we felt good about cheating old man winter one last time. Any of you that have end of the year Ride pics please feel free to include them.

Peace to all GS Riders in 2012. -viperG

Great looking bikes guys, thanks for the pics! Good for riding with your son too. My boy is only 9 but I can't wait to ride with him someday too!:) What a great way to have a connection with your son.

I'm not too far away from you and had a Christmas day ride myself. With the balmy weather we've been having lately I'm still not ready for the stabilizer or battery tender just yet. As a matter of fact, I just had my first ride of the new year yesterday. Took a nice 70 mile RT ride toward the east. (Cincinnati to Batavia) Then rode back after doing a bit of computer support work at a clients house. Didn't see any others out. But with the next weeks forecast being in the mid to high 40s I expect to get out a few more times and hopefully see a few others enjoying the briskness as well. Good on ya & nice pics too!

Gorgeous bikes!

Still ridding, got a dusting last night but plan on taking the bike to the gym!

Jan 6th here, was 65 degrees in South Dakota... Im hoping to get one more ride in before the snow shows up. Was 50 today, and tomorrow is looking to be the same. Damn I miss Arizona, never had a last ride of the year, rather then the literal years end.
