A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

Looking for a Jet kit

First, it seems as if my last post came off different in what i had intendd. so ill clarify. Post 4 confirmed what i questioned originally no cross thpe kits (vm &cv). But i was looking for a vm kit. I had sent an email to dynojet before coming on the forum and was just posting the response. I will certainly be following post 15 and with the different arrangements of clips and shims, jet sizes and throttle position i feel keeping it organized makes sense. Add to the spreadsheet results from plug chops i think it will really help me Nd others understand whats going on.

O.K., I understand, and I agree, when I tune I also keep the data from each run. I cheat a little because I use a wideband (sniffer), but the overall concept is the same.

carburator mikini bs 34ss

carburator mikini bs 34ss

Hello, I think this is where I have to put the query, the problem I have with the mikuni caburadores, my susi 1100 L, if not somewhere I apologize, because the translator has played me a trick.
I changed the original exhaust the susi 1100L for being totally deteriorated, I put a four in one of the brand Sebring, with the consequent change in levels of air, drowning the bike at high speed, if it's not excess air or lack of petrol, also the filter box is in poor condition, deformed, I guess by the passage of time and three years for being outdoors, I disassembled the carbs and I will carry with ultrasonic cleaning, cambiare all pumps and seals, and now comes my questions ...
1st I can tell if I put the air-fuel suppliers originals?
2nd air filters now are individual to each carburetor, that's all right?
3rd someone has before in this model?
4th if someone has changed the air filters and exhaust pipe gas pumps and air do you recommend?
perhaps there are many questions .... sorry. I hope I have explained the problem clearly enough,
Greetings from Catalonia, and if they need information from this part of the world do not hesitate to ask, jzape2005:)

Hey Josh, this one is for you. I recall you discussing Spain last night or this morning. Best of luck.

jzape,
in the interim, I "bump your thread".
I may have this wrong....Los traductores pueden ser muy dif?ciles...:)
I understand : you have Sebring 4->1 exhaust (gusto!) and you think that the bike is now running "lean" (=too much air mixed with gas)

question 1: Can you tell if you have the original "jets" in the carburetor? Here are some carburetor specifications for the ORIGINAL motorcycle from Bass-cliff's site
http://members.dslextreme.com/users/bikecliff/images/carbspec_float_height.html#A01
That may help to tell if the carburetor jets are the originals. Also, be sure to really look hard at the rest of the stuff on Bike-cliff's site. There is "a ton of stuff" for you.

question 2: "Will individual air filters work?" Yes, many people here have these. Individual air-filters = "pods" on the forum. They require changing the carburetor jets to correct the gas/air mixture. Or so I understand from my reading on the forum
.
For me, personally,I think it might be easier to find and replace your bad airbox but others here will know better!

question 3 and 4: Does someone here have "pods" and Sebring 4-1 exhaust on a 1100L and if so what Jet or other carburetor changes are required from the original? I am not able to help , but you can be sure someone here will know!
also, try the "Search this Forum" feature for "pods". Perhaps you already have, but I need to suggest it.

You are welcome to start your own thread! I fear you may get lost "tacked on" to this thread.

Pregunta 1: ?Se puede saber si tiene el original de "chorros" en el carburador? Estas son algunas de las especificaciones del carburador de la moto original del sitio Bass-acantilado
http://members.dslextreme.com/users/bikecliff/images/carbspec_float_height.html # A01
