A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Does anyone know of a luggage rack for the back of the GS1100E? New or used would be fine with me. I have seen some pictures in gallery with them on but I dont know anything about them. Suzuki pn or aftermarket?

I am going to start (today) riding my bike to work and I need to carry my lunch.

Any help on the matter is greatly appreciated! Thanks.

i saw a couple on ebay about 3 months ago and am still kicking myself for not buying one. I have one that came with the bike but looks like something from an old 1940 erector set.I only put it on when i am going to trav. If i had an original one, I would leave it on . They lookd rather nice and marched the lines of the bike. I think i have a photo of the rack that came with my buke on the website in England. Ill look and post the link if you care to look at it.
Look in the gallery under custom bikes. the picture on the bottom is the bike almost as i purchased it

I don't know of any racks to fit it but you might consider a tank bag as an alternative. I just bought one last week. It works good. Mine's an Eclipse Elite magnetic mount. 30 liter capacity. Closeout priced at www.eclipseluggage.com for $78. Regularly $135. Of couse there'a a catch! Black and red, only. Kelly

My stop-gap solution to getting a rack has been to buy a $5 cargo net and strap a backpack full of the stuff i need to the seat behind me. That will at least get you and your lunch to the same place until you track down a rack....
