    A note to new registrants...
All new forum registrations must be activated via email before you have full access to the forum.

A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Neutral LED indicator

Change all of your gauge lights to LEDs.
Well, that will work for most of the lights. :-k

If you have separate turn signal indicators in your gauge panel, it will be fine. If you have a single indicator that lights when either side is lit, it will take a little bit of creative wiring (but it's not hard) to get it to work.

Throw on a big fat tank bag and no one can tell it's an "L"!
NO!!! No tank bag!!!

I would not even think of scratching the art work.

Not even a tank bag will hide that enormousness.
There are problems putting "tank" bags on Gold Wings.

First of all, the tank is below the seat, behind the engine. Putting a bag on top, where most other bikes have their tank, will block access to the gas filler and the radio/intercom controls. I do have a small Hopnel bag (the small, wrinkly thing ahead of the seat, below the hand grips) that is strapped to the gas filler door. Works great for carrying the camera, GPS remote control, hard candy, sunglasses, whatever, ...

Wow, that is good.
No idea just how many angels are in her collection, but this is the only one that's mobile.

She figured that if she was getting back on a bike after all the years she was just a passenger, she could use all the help she could get. :D

When we had the bike painted, we asked the painter for a dark blue to sorta match my bike, and a bright silver to lighten up the look of the bike a bit, then some pinstripes to sorta match mine. We then gave him a picture of another artist's angel for inspiration and this is what we got. Not bad for a total of $700, four years ago.

The original was the black and gray like this one. This one belongs to Rocketman.
