Better question. Did you replace the stator with the CORRECT stator? There were TWO different stators (actually THREE if you count the big ones the 1100s later on used) a 12 pole and an 18 pole. If youve got a 12 pole stator in an 18 pole rotor, you're not going to get the proper voltage. If the stator is testing good from the stator only, then something is up with this.
Very good point there! I dont know how to tell which pole this is? Still should put out 60v+ thought eh? I bought it off of ebay and my bike was listed in the application and I even specified in the transaction. $101 or something - I shot off an email to rmstator and hope I get back some news!
This is really the last piece to the puzzle with me finishing the mechanics on this thing!
