So I just installed my petcock on my repainted tank for the first time in two years. It worked fine back then, but today there's a slow leak. It was only apparent after I filled the tank nearly to the top
I'm still going to put it on my bike and get it to run/sync the carbs. Can I plan on the carbs not leaking immediately? I do plan on taking the tank off again and siphoning the rest of the gas out (aargg!) .
Which is the best solution for the future-a rebuild kit, or a new universal petcock? (there is a tiny weeping leak at the petcock switch as well
