I decided to Go somewhere I hadn't been in a While for My Sunday Afternoon ride Today. I settled on Reelfoot Lake which is Located in the Far Northwest Corner of Tennessee. Reelfoot was Formed During the Huge Earthquake of 1812 which caused the Mississippi River to Run Backwards for several Days Filling in a Large Natural Depression. Large parts of it are a Federal Wildlife Reserve and a Tennessee State Park so for the Most Part, the Lake is much as it was over 100 Years ago. Here are a Few pics.
I met a couple of Real Nice Retired Fellows who Rode there on a 99 Gold Wing and an 87 Honda Rebel 250. Talk about Mutt and Jeff! Those Guys Have the Retirement I Hope For, Work a little, Gas up the Bike and Take Off!:-D
