Rear Reflectors

Does anyone know if the rear reflectors for an '85 will fit an '83 GS 750E?

The dealer said they have been discontinued. When I asked him if the '85 or newer would fit, he said if it did it would either be the same part # or would reflect (no pun intended) a new #. I've talked to this part guy a couple times and wonder if he knows his stuff? He said it looks like a 2 piece assembly and it's only $5.49 for the whole thing. He said even if it's discontinued, he may be able to order it , but of course I have to pay first.

Or, does anyone have an extra set they want to part with?

If you look at these three bikes you'll be able to see they are the same. The first bike is Dan Gimmer's '83, the middle one is is Luke Hansom's old '85, and the thrd one is an '83 belonging to Andrew Binkley. All nice bikes.

Bought the '85 set off e-bay. They look like the bottom one that has the red reflectors. Looks like the should work.
