I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

Again, I need answers. I have the '83 GS 750 E. It is squeaking whenever the rear suspension moves. I sprayed some lubricant on the bushings, but to no avail.
Question is, can I do anything without removing the bushings? I have no center stand, so hoping the fix is simple...

Thanks

About all you can do is pull out all the individual bolts that the suspension works on and grease them and any bushings up. Wouldn't hurt to pull the swingarm and grease the needle bearings on it. Even then they squeak some. I've never gotten rid of mine completely.

Just looking at this, I ass u me that you need to put it up on a center stand (which I don't have YET)

I'll get a manual shortly. Looks like several bushings and bolts.

Just FYI.

I live in Florida and have had a boat in the past (still have - just not running).

Anyway, everyone here kept telling me to use CRC brand 656. Said it's the best at keeping rust and corrosion away. I was told that it spreads really good and is an excellent lubricant.

Well, I was going to Disney for a few days and I sprayed every bushing and suspension bolt I could find.

Now I'm back and no squeeky squeeky....

Hope this may help someone.
