If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

hello,

I have an 82 GSX1100 and it has droopy footrests.

I was going to weldup the holes re-drill to fix it etc.

was wondering if there are any aftermarket pegs available perhpas in nice billet or something?

not keen to put rear sets on despite the USD front and 180 rear.

ideas??

Cheers

Ed

83 Katana 1100 pegs, alloy with rubber on the top.

Dink

Dink, When you suggest 83 Katana pegs I assume that means the compete set up including bracket and peg. The 83 GS1100E pegs don't work on the 82 1100E .

You've seen or done this swap from an 83 Katana to a 82 1100ez. Just want to make sure on the models cause I'm sure they'll be pricey to come by.

Is it just droopy because the bushes are worn?
You can buy new bushes, knock the old ones out and drift some new ones in.
All you need is a bench vice, a hammer, a punch and a drift the same size as the bush (a piece of steel rod the right size).

Fairly simple procedure and the pegs will be like new.

For me its both because of the dreaded 100,000 mile droop and I'm looking for something more modern. My bushes are shot but so is the connection between the peg and the bracket.

So if anyone has actually done a Katana to 82 GS1100 foot transplant (Dr. Dink?) would love to hear it confirmed. By the way I also have GSXR and ZX12R pegs that I can graft on but due to my current rear brake set up that may not be an easy option.

Dink???

Dink???

Dink, Can you provide any more info on my question below? Thanks
