A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

I don't generally get too excited about a detail product, but this stuff is amazing. I have factory black engine paint but it was grayed quiet a bit, like almost an oxidation of the paint.. I tried scrubbing and cleaning with a variety of products and they just stayed gray.

I sprayed one coat of the s100 engine brightener on and it was black... deep, shiny, black. I did it about 4 weeks ago and the bike has been ridden quiet a bit, and has had a couple hour long highway trips, and has been rained on.. still perfectly black.

The product dries and can be wiped off after a short time so there is no film or anything..

Anyway, I took a few pictures, they are on my phone so quality is suspect, but I think it shows the finish well enough.

Yep, I was also pleasantly surprised at how well it works on black engines -- it takes a few years off of my Nighthawk (in sig), but I've used it on the Bandit as well.

I've heard the S100 CLEANER can actually strip the black paint off your engine if you use it often - anyone else hear that?

Nice to hear the "brightener" works!

This is great info. Trevor used a product but it went all sticky when the engine heated up.

2+ years of use so far, and I put it on fairly often the first season. After that, it's just an occasional touch-up. No noticeable harm to any paint yet.

Still on my first can.

I use the cleaner a lot, "bike wash" is what I presume you mean, and I haven't seen any finish damage to anything.

I actually work in a motorcycle shop and part of my duties include detailing some bikes so I've used bike wash on many makes and models.

I don't however think that the s100 wash is anything special.. it works but pigsnot wash, 'sloppy soap sudz' is what I prefer for washing a bike.

I also cant say enough good about bugslide cleaner.. it will take bugs off that nothing else will touch.
