DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

stripeing opinions

first timer

Forum Sage
what do you guys think, i need some opinions, i can't figure out how i want to stripe my bike and what to do with the fender,

take a look at some photoshop pics i have done of my bike and let me know what you like,

http://www.grimp.net/ryan/bik2/

Don't worry it is still primer grey with a white fairing right now...
the red will be GM "bright red" - a standard darker red with a tiny hue of blue, this red is the stuff found on any red gm car.

also imagine lester wheels (front, back) with all black spokes and a polished aluminum lip.

thanks,
-ryan

I think I'd go with the one labeled "short-fender.jpg" and the big S by iteslf on the tail.

thats awsome, thanks for the pic, i already have a couple but the more the better, do you have anymore in high res?

i am kinda going for the yodh race bike but i also found a cartoon of a yosh bike that is a diffrent interperation, that i kinda like too.

Hey, that GS will look great either way you paint it. If you're trying to make it look like the Wes Cooley bike then go with that paint scheme, that's probably what I would do. Otherwise I think I would go with one red stripe on the fairing but instead of on the lip of fairing put it an the recess were the turn signal is. That would put it in line with the stripe on tank and give it a more flowing look. Also the rear brake master cylinder looks out of place now that you've opened up the center area. Maybe just lengthen the hose 4 or 5 inches and mount more under the seat, it'll clean up the looks in that area a bit. Or maybe paint it black except for a small strip to check the fluid level. Great job though.

Ryan, it looks great like that. I have my own ideas for that paint scheme but to pick and vote from your picture selections I'd go with #5 and #12

It's going to be sweet man, keep at it buddy!
:-D

Hotness....I say:

Fender = short w/stripe

Fairing = w/lower stripe & middle stripe all the way through w/black or red in the headlight
