Page last modified: 09/03/08 The Monthly Photograph For September 2002 1983 Katana (mostly) Owner: Amos A Adams The Bike, as described by Amos himself! The 83 Katana has a 1992 GSXR inverted front end, rear tire and 4 inch extended swing arm. The 1150 c.c. engine is hopped up to 1198 c.c.'s  with mild web cams. It has a heavy duty clutch basket and some 36 mm smoothbores. Electric's are 3 ohm coils (the green ones) and a dyna 2000. I drag race in Carlsbad CA in a bracket series and currently run 10:50's @129 mph (still absolutely street legal)! This Photo really made us "Fall" into September!

I think what you guys do on the GSResources  site is absolutely awesome. Time and time again you have enabled me to talk to some people who have really "been there and done that". I have found in building my bike no shop with the exception of a few have the time or want to give you any advice or anything. If you are not making a payment on a new bike every month than you are not worth dealing with. Any time I had a question or needed a part during this  project I could count on you guys. Again you guys are great and thank you a  ton. Here is a final picture of the bike after 4 months of busted knuckles.
