My 1981 Suzuki GS1100EX should be chosen as "bike of the month" because I think its one of the nicest styled bikes made. Its powerful, comfortable and reliable. This bike is in excellent condition with very few modifications. I try to keep as stock as possible. 

The bike had 2,650 miles on it when it was purchased - and now has 23,600 miles on it. I am the 2nd owner, and have owned it since 1982. If anything is maintained properly it can look like new for a very long time.

My first bike was a 1977 GS400 a friend sold me. 2nd bike was a 1978 GS750E. In 1982, I finally had enough money to buy a new GS1100, but they changed the styling, and I just didn't like. Just my luck. I found this 1981 and have been very happy with it ever since.
